About Yanumoja Yoga:
Yanumoja yoga was founded by Nikki Manzie in 1998. It is based in the Hatha yoga tradition, and includes the tantric philosophy of embracing awareness of one's true nature while fully engaging in life.

Yan is a Sanskrit word meaning to retain. It is the root of the word Yantra, which refers to a device, machine or pattern that focuses or channels energies. Umoja is a KiSwahili word meaning unity. Yoga means to unite, yoke, or join. Yanumoja yoga is a set of practices that help us focus our energies to unity and self-awareness.
